Sleeping With (or Just Visiting) the Fishes

Another weekend already, and since we’ve sort of been o the run since we got here, we tried to take a slower pace this time around.

After work on Friday, we went to Island Time Pub in Red Hook for happy hour. They have yummy pizza and a great view of the harbor and St. John.

On Saturday we spent the morning at Coral World Ocean park, on the east end of St. Thomas.  This is a neat little aquarium where you can actually swim, snub and scuba with some of the natural wildlife of the coral reef. We didn’t do any of the turtle or sea lion adventures this time around, but we explored the exhibits and got a great show from Franco, a 600-lb. sea lion.

Sunday was a lazy day at home, relaxing in the pool and reading.
