The first two nights here have been…interesting…to say the least. I swear there are more birds in the trees that surround our rental than in the states of Nebraska and Iowa combined. And they all make noise, all night long. Lots of bumps in the night and new noises to get used to. Which is hard, considering you’re also not trying to get eaten alive by mosquitoes. I keep telling myself that we asked for this. The view makes up for this, right? Time will tell.

It’s Monday  and Dan and I went to the hospital to take care of some paperwork for his job, then to Yacht Haven Grande to get some coffee at Bad Ass Coffee Co.

We did some more driving around, but mostly tried to not look like complete tourists while driving on the left. Visited some grocery stores and located not one, but TWO different Kmart stores, as well as Walgreens. Getting used to island life will take some time.
