A Three Hour Tour

Or more like twelve-plus hour tour.

Up at 3 am to get to the airport by 5 am. Hauling six suitcases, four adults and a dog who is unhappy in his airline-approved kennel.

Mom and dad drove us to Omaha to get on our flight and we made it in plenty of time. We were SO ready to get rid of our heavy luggage, but were very proud of ourselves that each bag weight 49 lbs., under the limit of 50, woo!

After saying our goodbyes we got on the first leg of our trip to Charlotte, NC.

Off to Charlotte, NC

Do we look tired!?

Do we look tired!?

Once in Charlotte, we found the “pet relief area” (think Parks and Rec’s “Smallest Park”) and let Marley out, and waited for our flight to St. Thomas.

It all feels like vacation now, and I’m sure it won’t once we actually have to sleep there. We feel crazy. Still.
